The Artisan Weave
Three stacked tiers of hand-woven natural fibre drum shades — each tier fractionally wider than the one above — create a silhouette that sits between traditional shade form and contemporary pendant sculpture. The weave is deliberately open: a loose criss-cross lattice that is not a shade in the conventional sense but a filter, allowing the cluster of exposed candle-style bulbs within to glow through the gaps in the fibre.
What makes it special:
- The open weave is load-bearing but not structural in appearance — the natural fibre gives the impression of something gathered, not engineered
- Multiple exposed bulbs visible through the weave at different depths create a layered quality of light that a solid shade cannot replicate
Perfect for:
- Dining rooms with natural or organic material palettes
- Open-plan spaces where warmth and texture anchor a zone
- Interiors with rattan, linen, stone, or timber as primary materials
