Flute & Float

Where Art Deco geometry meets contemporary surface design. The Flute & Float door combines dense vertical fluting running the full height of one half, interrupted mid-door by two large raised floating panels with softly rounded corners that cut across the fluted surface.

Finish

Shown in matte dusty terracotta – a warm, chalky mid-tone between clay pink and burnt sienna, applied consistently across door face and architrave. The matte lacquer finish absorbs light softly, enhancing the shadow depth between flutes and the raised panel edges.

Surface Detail

The close-up reveals tight rhythmic ridges of machined fluting contrasted against the smooth flat face of the floating panels, with a crisp quarter-round routed transition edge between the two.

Hardware

Fitted with a matt black lever on a square backplate with integrated lock cylinder. A deliberate contrast to the warmth of the finish.
