Flush Compass

The Compass is the most sculptural door in the flush range. Large, sweeping panels of veneer are cut and laid at contrasting angles across the door face, creating a bold geometric composition from grain direction alone – no routing, no inlay, no applied trim. A signature circular disc detail surrounds the handle position, serving as both a functional backplate and a design centrepiece. Both design options shown use a Warm Walnut base – a rich amber-brown with strong figuring – and are paired with a brushed brass bar handle that sits through the disc. The combination feels architectural rather than decorative. The panel layout and disc position can be adapted; the door is equally striking in lighter veneers, lacquered finishes, or with contrasting disc and handle materials.
